Sprouts Farmers Market is a health-based grocery store that prides itself on its diverse selection of natural and organic foods and superb customer service. Its brand mission is, “We believe healthy living is a journey and every meal is a choice. We love to inspire, educate, and empower every person to eat healthier and live a better life.” This brand mission creates a determined team member atmosphere, which in turn builds a trusting relationship with its customer base. The final design solution showcases Sprouts' welcoming brand promise by drawing equal attention to its core value of making healthy food affordable and captivating the minds of investors. The report is designed for the viewer to experience rather than simply read. Each section welcomes the reader with a unique header featuring playful fruit illustrations. Throughout each page, one can interact with type treatments that give snapshots into what is covered in the spread. This stylization of information communicates to the viewer that what goes into Sprouts’ annual report matters. This same care is placed within the creation of its products and in the selection of its produce. This detailed layout is balanced by resting pages, which feature produce photography, quotes, or fast facts. The combination of all these elements allows the project to feel personal and tailored with the viewer in mind.
